Product Description
Fine silver wire - made with at least 99.9% pure silver - is softer, more malleable and tends to tarnish slower than sterling silver. Fine silver can be work hardened by traditional means such as stretching, hammering, tumbling, etc.; however, it cannot be hardened with heat. Half-hard wire is fairly easy to bend and retains its shape, making it an ideal wire for wire-wrapping, earwires, jumprings and hard angles.
