Product Description
Binding wire is used to hold parts together while soldering and gluing them. In wire-wrapping, binding wire can be wrapped around a bundle of wires to hold them together. Stainless steel wire is an economical alternative to precious metals.
Dead-soft wire is extremely malleable and can be bent easily. If you use dead-soft wire to create an element that will be put under a lot of stress, such as a clasp, it is recommended to harden the wire after shaping.
To harden the wire, so it can hold up to the stress, place it onto an anvil and strike it with a hammer.
Please note: This will cause impressions in the wire.
Durable stainless steel will not chip or rust, and no plating means the natural steel color stands the test of time.
