Crimps are a jewelry design staple used with beading wire and some beading cords to secure the start and finish of the strand.

Thread through the crimp, around the clasp loop, back through the crimp and draw the beading wire or cord taut.

Add a dab of glue then compress the crimp flat with crimp pliers.
